Amit Jain - Unofficial

Our paths never crossed since Amit had left Xamplify by the time I started working for them. However, while checking our CTO Sumer (Singh) Johal's background, I was surprised by the fact that Johal, who is of Sikh religion and was brought up in Punjab (still part of India and not Khalistan) had tendency of picking mostly religious minorities when hiring people of Indian subcontinent background and harassed me to his heart's content. For example, he hired Anupam Bordia - a Jain, Sanjay Dayal - his mother is a Jain, besides hiring Sikh and Muslim employees. I don't know whether he hired Amit Jain or not but there seemed to be an Amit Jain who graduated from St. John in Amritsar in 1990, the same school Sumer might have attended for 12 years graduting in 1988. (Amit Jain is a very common name among Indians, though.) I think Amit Jain might be nice but based on my experience I guess that Sumer Johal has strong anti-Indian and anti-Hindu feelings, and I just hope that Amit Jain is okay and not like him. Almost certainly he is a nice guy, I think.
