Hype: Dave Donoho, Niels Waller, Elwyn Berlekamp ...

Berlekamp, Elwyn (Berkeley), Waller, Niels (Vanderbilt), Donoho, David (Stanford) were some of the names that appeared as advisors requently. David Donoho and Niels Waller's names showed up as part of management team and Elwyn Berlekamp and Alan Stein's names as investors (probably true in case of investors). Terry Winograd's name too showed up, and so was Alan Stein, Weston Presidio's name - as advisors. They were not to be seen though.

The entire websites of Xamplify were such seemless, smooth-flowing hype about its people, technology, and products that I find it difficult to excerpt smalls portion from those sites. However good Elwyn Berlekamp, David Donoho, Niels Waller might be in their professions, it is hard to imagine them coming up with the revolutionary technology Xamplify claimed to have mastered.
