Job Description
We are seeking an individual with a very strong Mathematics and Statistics foundation who will be responsible for playing a team role in design and implementation of the intellectual property for Xamplify's next-gen products for the CRM industry. This is a senior level data modeling and analysis position and the candidate must have the ability to contribute individually to create innovative and performance-efficient ways of deploying bleeding-edge methodologies/algorithms for the core product. Candidate must be an "engineer" in a classic sense and have the experience to author, design and implement Xamplify's core analytical engines. The candidate will work closely with the Modeling, QA and Operations technical leads to ensure that the product is launched with high quality, on-budget and on-time. The candidate will be responsible for creating the foundation of Xamplify's internal research and analysis platform including data warehousing and data mining applications. The candidate would report to Sr. Data Modeling Engineer.
Job Responsibilities
-Responsible for helping the modeling team in designing and implementing the core Intellectual Property
-Design algorithms and heuristics that allow for scalability, modularity, portability and re-design
-Continually refine coding conventions, revision control, development framework and foundation classes
-Work with Modeling Lead to ensure the correct implementation of algorithms and prototypes during the design phase
-Be responsible for developing detailed functional and design specifications from business specifications
-Responsible for designing and implementing Xamplify's data warehouse and modeling tool framework for rapid analysis
Job Qualifications
-MS (preferred) or BS in Mathematics with concentration in Statistics (or equivalent)
-3-5 years of S-PLUS software operation experience
-1-2 years of Software Development (or equivalent) experience
-1-3 years of MS Acess, MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Sybase experience, Data warehousing/Data mining will be a plus
