Hari Titan
Is Hari Titan ethically-challenged? Is not a team player? Is a back-stabber? Are women safe around him? Hari Titan, a Ph.D. in computer science from Univ. of Waterloo and a resident of Piedmont/Oakland (San Francisco bay area) was at Xamplify Inc. briefly for a couple of months. He seemed to have an oversized ego, and he soon got into trouble with Xamplify's management. A meeting with Sumer Johal, led to his abrupt firing.
Apparently he was at Visa International for a couple of weeks too. At Gap in San Francisco he was for a longer duration but apparently severe charge(s) by one or more women employees to its HR about his apparent ungentlemanly conduct led to his job termination.
We remained friendly. During September of 2009, while he was unemployed after his work at Geovera, I had a phone interview with David Navarro of Wells Fargo's Internet Fraud Division. He was looking for strong SAS and analytics background. Hari was inquisitive about my job search and got all the details from me and wasted no time in contacting my recruiter at Robert Half International (Chris Castillo) without my permission and in competition with me, Hari Titan and Chris Castillo, decided to submit Hari's resume to Dave Navarro, but not before they had apparently deleted Hari's short-term employment histories like the one at Xamplify Inc. He got the job (of duration 1 year+ and was still employed there around end of November of 2009 when I last talked to him. What a cut-throat backstabber!
Earlier he seems to have worked at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Providian Financial, ENC Software (now a part of Fair Isaac) and Moodlogic.
IMPORTANT: Hari Titan's Response
Hari has responded to this web page by sending me a few emails. For the sake of fairness and balance I am providing his emails unabridged and please go through them to get his side of the story however self-serving they might be. My story remains more or less the same though and I might comment on his emails in future but don't really want to. Just wanted to recall an incident that had happened a long time ago. I asked Hari if he could provide me with some job leads. So he brought some legal contract papers with him and asked me to sign them to become an employee of his company and then only he could provide me with leads. He was not joking!
I will also strongly encourage you to contact Hari to get his side of the story. His contacts information is email: hari@analytical-crm.com and phone: (510) 450-0772 which I got from his site www.analytical-crm.com.
